Why "rotate" in your PDF viewer doesn't stick
When you press the rotate button in a typical PDF reader, it usually rotates the view only — a temporary convenience that vanishes the moment you close the file. Reopen it and the page is sideways again. To make the change permanent, you have to rotate the pages and then save a new copy with that orientation stored inside it.
How to rotate a PDF and save it
- Open the Rotate PDF tool and upload your file.
- Rotate every page at once, or pick individual pages that need turning.
- Choose the direction — 90° left, 90° right, or 180° to flip.
- Download the corrected PDF. The new orientation is now saved into the file.
Tips
